ABOUT THE ARTIST
Dan Mihalko is a self-taught painter, specializing in watercolors and pastels. His painting career paralleled his law enforcement career with the U. S. Postal Inspection Service, with many of his paintings covering law enforcement or postal themes. He is a six-time winner of the U. S. Postal Service Calendar Contest and his paintings have been displayed on the covers of various postal and law enforcement magazines, such as the Postmaster's Gazette and The Texas Lawman.

Dan's originals and limited edition prints are in collections all over the world, with many police departments, sheriff's offices, Marshal's offices and Postal Inspectors prominently displaying his work.

His realistic style and attention to detail have led to commissioned works from the National Association of Postmasters of the U.S., Women in Federal Law Enforcement, the Sheriff's Association of Texas, the Washington State Sheriff's Association, U. S. Postal Service and the Postal Rate Commission.
